Dear EuroSLA member,
We are pleased to announce our next free social webinar for Early Career Researchers on 29 May 2026 at 13:00-14:30 CEsT (click to convert to your local time). This session will explore a new and timely theme: the role of Artificial Intelligence in research.
While the webinar is primarily designed with ECRs in mind, we warmly welcome all colleagues interested on the subject to join us. We will address key questions on how AI is shaping current research practices, as well as the opportunities and challenges it brings. We are also delighted to be joined by an editor from JESLA, who will offer critical and ethical considerations regarding transparency, academic integrity, and data privacy from the journal’s point of view.
We are hoping to make this as accessible as possible for everyone by keeping it online, free, and at a timeslot that hopefully works for as many as possible. We encourage you not only to attend but to share this call with other SLA researchers who may not yet be connected to our EuroSLA community.
The Google Meet link can be found below. Please register here so we have a rough idea how many people to expect.
We look forward to seeing everyone soon – either at this webinar and/or in our next EuroSLA conference in Lisbon in June.
