The EuroSLA Executive Committee is holding a free social webinar for Early Career Researchers on January 7, 2022 at 1400-1530 UK time (click link to convert to your local time). This will be a chance for ECRs (which includes, of course, post-grad students) to catch up at the start of the new year, make some new connections with other SLA researchers at a similar stage, and we’ll have some EuroSLA committee members around for a brief discussion of how to write a really good conference abstract. (A reminder that the deadline for submitting abstracts for EuroSLA 31 conference in Fribourg is 31 January 2022).
We are hoping to make this as accessible as possible for our ECRs by keeping it online, free, and at a timeslot that hopefully works for as many as possible. We encourage any member who considers themselves to be an ECR to attend, and for more experienced researchers to share this call with early career SLA researchers who may not already be connected to our EuroSLA family to try to rope them in!
