AILA symposium: “Convenient Samples and Inconvenient Truths”

Dear Colleagues,
We would like to alert you to the AILA symposium that we are organizing in the wake of the SLA4All project (https://osf.io/mp47b/), called “Convenient Samples and Inconvenient Truths”.
The aim of the symposium is to evaluate the possible consequences of convenience samples in L2 learning and teaching. If you have done a study with non-academic, non-college-educated children or adults, then we would be keen to receive your contribution. We welcome original studies as well as replications.
Deadline for submissions is 16 September 2019 through the AILA website: https://www.aila2020.nl/call-for-papers. Don’t forget to select the name of our symposium (S026 Convenient Samples and Inconvenient Truths) from the drop-down list when you submit your abstract.
We look forward to receiving your contributions! Please forward to anyone you think might be interested in this initiative.
