Senior Research Fellowship in Multilingualism at VU Brussels

The Centre for Linguistics at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel is seeking candidates for a full-time tenured senior research fellowship in the domain of Multilingualism (broadly defined, to include linguistic, psycholinguistic, cognitive, and sociolinguistic aspects of multilingualism and language acquisition).

The position is for two terms of five years, with a focus on research (incl. supervision of PhD students and acquiring research funding) and only limited teaching duties.

After the 10-year term, the senior research fellow will be integrated in the regular staff and teach courses on English Linguistics, Language Acquisition and Multilingualism.

Candidates must have obtained their PhD (in the domains of multilingualism, language acquisition, or linguistics) minimum three and maximum twelve years ago, and have a strong research track record.
